History

Collierville Presbyterian Church is located in the historic district of Collierville, TN, just minutes from the picturesque and vibrant Town Square.  Originally called Salem Church and located two miles south of Collierville, Collierville Presbyterian Church was officially organized on October 12, 1844 with a membership of 21. On November 14, 1886 the church moved to Walnut Street near Collierville’s town square and officially became known as Collierville Presbyterian Church. The congregation moved to its present site at the corner of Poplar and Peterson Lake Road on February 14, 1965.
